The Silhouette CAMEO 4 Plus is the desktop format cutting plotter created by Silhouette for those who need a larger cutting width than the Silhouette CAMEO 4.
The Silhouette CAMEO 4 Plus, just like the Silhouette CAMEO 4, uses a small blade to cut shapes on a variety of materials, including paper, cardboard, adhesive vinyl, iron-on, fabric etc. up to 38cm wide (37.1cm effective cutting width) and 3 meters long.
The Silhouette CAMEO 4 Plus, using its optical registration mark reading technology combined with any laser or inkjet printer, can automatically perform contour cuts and print and cut jobs; thanks to its high cutting force and the use of new tools it is possible to cut many materials (paper, adhesive vinyls, thermoadhesives, felt, fabrics, cotton, velvet, alcantara, imitation leather and much more) up to a maximum thickness of 3mm ( the correct execution of the cut depends mainly on the hardness of the materials themselves).
Using the functions of PixScan ™ technology, it is possible to make contour cuts on previously printed materials, such as printed photographs or magazine pages and drawings.
The Silhouette CAMEO 4 Plus connects to your PC or Mac just like your home printer, however, instead of printing, your CAMEO 4 Plus will cut the material you have loaded, with or without the help of the cutting mat.
With the supplied “Silhouette Studio” software (via free download from the site www.polyshaper.eu) it is possible to create customized designs and projects without any limit, it is also possible to purchase and use ready-made designs and also various fonts from the “Silhouette Design Store “.
The machine has a built-in Bluetooth adapter, so you can also connect the machine wirelessly.
This connection technology may not always allow optimal use of the machine due to the limitations of bluetooth technology. The connection system that guarantees full functionality is through the USB port.
N.B. The supplied blade could have problems in automatic adjustment, it is preferable, for a perfect execution of the work, without waste, to manually adjust the protrusion of the blade.
